In this presentation, Dr. Gilroy will review the Delphi methodology and its applicability in the healthcare sector to measure consensus. During the presentation, Dr. Gilroy will review how to complete a Delphi study, some of the statistical measures that can be used, and an example of applying the Delphi methodology in practice to create a socio-ecological model.

About our Speaker:
Heidi Gilroy, PhD, RN, NPD-BC, EBP-C, is the Director of Professional Development, Magnet, and Research at Memorial Hermann the Woodlands Medical Center. Dr. Gilroy earned her PhD in Nursing Science at Texas Woman’s University and her Masters in Nursing with a Public Health focus at Benedictine University. She has served in clinical and leadership positions in community, academic, and hospital settings. Dr. Gilroy’s primary research interest is the effects of trauma on health and functioning in various populations. She has written dozens of articles and presented research and theory work at national and international conferences.
