Do members want to pay for meals at our monthly meetings?
Austin ASQ members:

Our budget includes funds to cover monthly meeting expenses which includes some money for food and drinks.  Generally speaking, our budget will cover drinks, sandwiches and salad or something similar price-wise for meetings with 40 people.  However, when the attendance grows to 60-80 as it has recently, the budget will not cover the additional food costs.  In these cases, we have the option to either charge a small fee of $5-$10 or only provide drinks with limited food options depending on the number of members that register for the meeting.  Your leadership team is seeking input on whether members are open to paying a small fee to ensure a light meal is provided during monthly meetings.

Select the option that best describes your position regarding monthly meeting costs:
  • I would pay $5-$10 for food costs in order to receive a light meal during our monthly member meetings.
  • I do not want to pay for any food costs for monthly meetings and would be satisfied with cold drinks and possibly a snack if the budget permits.

Thanks in advance for your input!

Pete,

My preference is to not have members pay.  Here is my vote:
