I first heard about ASQ when I was pursuing my Masters but joined when my co-worker referred me to the Government Division. I attended the 2018 WCQI and met the Government Division Leaders. These leaders shared with me the opportunities in ASQ and that led me becoming a part of their Leadership group. Also, this year I reviewed some of the other divisions to explore my interests and joined some.

Kristi Boyett at City of Tyler is involved in the on-boarding process. She might have some good suggestions for you. Apart from Gov Div, HD & L division can also be a great place to look for on-boarding process.

I just joined as individual member of ASQ having been member only through my government agency for several years. I became individual member to allow me to join our local Kansas CIty Section 1301 and I'm getting involved there as a new member leader helping in publicity.
I signed up for several Divisions, including Government. I'm just starting to explore the various communities and I appreciate these posts.
