What leadership styles work best in driving a culture of quality? In my post "Democratic Leadership Style", I focus on how a mix of the democratic and transformational leadership styles work most.
I have to admit I often feel like everyone who writes in this area just makes up their own styles and that it is a lot of interrelationships and little from column A and a little from column C in actually building a good leader.
What is your favorite approach?

I think each leader has to find their own style. I tried 'inspirational leadership'. That plane went down in a fireball with no parachutes. I seem to have most success with 'decentralized d-m', while walking the talk.
