Communities of practice (CoPs) are an important knowledge management tool that drives improvement. A group of people who work together on an ongoing basis to share knowledge and expertise in regard to common issues, topics, or practices, CoPs range from forums like this to very specific topics in your employee. These days a many are virtual.
