I find the monthly member gift to be a great perk. And as a member of the Food Drug and Cosmetic division, was very excited to see a member gift related to Life Sciences. True, healthcare can be considered Life Sciences, but my feeling (pardon me if I'm wrong) is that in the Quality profession, life sciences are generally considered to be the areas coming under the FDA's purview, particularly the area of pharmaceuticals and biologics. However, the member gift hardly has any resources on Life Sciences. Wonder if anybody else felt the same?
You're correct, ASQ has very little focus on pharma or medical devices in its member gifts. There were two specific items in 2015, and an outdated copy of the biomedical auditors handbook in 2020. The May gift package was strictly useful for healthcare providers.
