ASQ’s newest division, Social Responsibility (SRTC), is seeking fresh leadership. The Chair Elect / Vice Chair serves a one-year term and is positioned to move into the role of Chair. The Chair Elect assists in developing the SRTC annual business plan and works with the leadership team to set goals/metrics that support members.
SRTC activities have included exhibition at ASQ events, content generation, member presentations, and more. Currently, an award and mentor program are in development. Ideas, knowledge and experience are needed as we continue to grow within the society.
To qualify as Chair Elect, interested ASQ members in good standing must have previously served as a division officer. In addition, the ideal candidate has experience generating QBOK, has good communication and project management skills, and is a strategic thinker.
“Social responsibility is a means of achieving sustainability. Adopting key social responsibility principles, such as accountability and transparency, can help ensure the long-term viability and success of any organization or system.”
