Wladimir Figueiredo is a Quality Mechanical-Industrial Engineer with over 15 years of experience in inspection and quality assurance. He has worked in various industries, including oil and gas, aerospace, automotive, railways, steel-works, precision machining, aluminum extrusion, and mechanical design. Wladimir is a Non-destructive testing Specialist, with Level III training, and is a certified Non-Destructive Testing Inspector ISO 9712. He has also completed Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training.
In terms of work experience, Wladimir has worked as a Quality Engineer at Almag Aluminum, where he supervised aluminum extrusion operations, managed customer complaints, analyzed SPC data, and trained operational personnel. He has also worked as a Quality Engineer at Emjac Screw Products, where he supervised machining operations, controlled dimensional accuracy and clients' requirements, implemented work instructions and SOPs, and trained operators. Additionally, Wladimir has worked as a Lead Student Researcher at Centennial College, where he led a project investigating the capabilities of metal additive manufacturing using generative design for Bombardier Aeronautics/De Havilland.
