Hi all! What are your plans for celebrating world quality month during this time of COVID-19 precautions? Are you planning more virtual celebrations? Are you altering the way you approach things? Have you started planning or thinking about World Quality Month at all?

Stay safe and let's share our great ideas!

I'm just getting started planning. We were already spread out across the world so we had a trivia contest last year and all virtual activities. Likely the same this year, but trolling for ideas from the past. Here's what I have so far:
  • Series of lunch and learns
  • Newsletter - Explain all the quality orgs and their roles here
  • Ask VP to speak about the role of quality and its importance in the org
  • Daily/weekly trivia
November 2020 is World Quality Month.

The ASQ Phoenix Section is sponsoring a "Nominate Your Quality Hero" event as part of its November 12 General Session monthly program meeting. Grace Duffy is lined up as our guest speaker. Grace will introduce "the BEST method for process excellence". The Leadership team introduced the idea of Quality Hero nominations during our October program meeting. We are asking our members to come prepared to share a little bit about their personal quality hero during the networking portion of the November agenda. This should be an exciting icebreaker topic.
Hi folks!
We went with a "Quality Culture" theme and asked different business groups to contribute "Quality Stories". So far, we have had an overwhelming response with people sharing what quality means to them, how they impact quality and inspiring others. We have had several videos and very motivating stories.

On a daily basis, we are sharing a trivia game from ASQ (Which Quality guru(s) are you most like and What is your Quality tool).

Cheers!
Just want to thank you all for starting this post! I found it very helpful and appreciated everyones comments. This was my rookie year coordinating Quality Day activities so it was a bit stressful trying to figure out feasible ways to shine a bright light on Quality. Hope your activities are going well!
